Effective September 28, 2026, the Illinois Department of Insurance’s
Springfield office has relocated to a new physical address. The Department’s
P.O. Box address remains unchanged.

How you send your tax statements determines which address to use:
Tax statements sent via USPS should continue to be sent to the Department’s P.O. Box address, which has not changed:

Tax statements sent via courier (such as UPS or FedEx) should be sent to the Department’s new physical office address listed above.
Please update your records and any remitting procedures so your tax statements reach the Department without delay.
