Each policy and premium bearing endorsement must be filed with the SLAI using the Electronic Filing System (EFS), if Illinois is the home state of the insured. The link to the EFS is in the upper-right corner of our website.
Filing should be done on a timely basis. It is illegal to deliver a policy or premium bearing endorsement to the insured unless it contains evidence of filing with the Association (the SLAI confirmation number or confirmation page).
